What is Chi Kung?

"Chi" means "energy", and "kung" means "work", so one could translate this to mean that chi kung is the "art of working with energy". (Chi Kung can also be spelled as "qigong".)

What type of Chi Kung is being taught?

Schools or styles of chi kung are many and varied. The type of chi kung taught in these courses is Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung. Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung has a direct lineage of transmission from the southern Shaolin Temple.

Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung will be taught by Sifu Emiko Hsuen.

Sifu Hsuen has been authorized to teach by Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit, a world-renowned chi kung master who is the 4th generation successor of the Venerable Jiang Nan of the southern Shaolin Monastery.
